Dr. Mark Andor has a diploma in economics and received a Ph. D. with the dissertation “Public Interventions in the Electricity Sector – Essays on Energy Economics” from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster in 2012. Since September 2012 he is Researcher in the department “Environment and Resources” at RWI and since 2013 Visiting Lecturer at the University of Duisburg-Essen. From 2008 to 2012, he worked as a Research Associate at the Department of Economic Theory at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Previously, from 2003 to 2008, he studied Economics at this university and the Universidad de Vigo (Spain). His research focus is behavioral and experimental economics, applied econometrics and energy, environmental and resource economics. Dr. Andor has published in peer-reviewed journals such as Applied Economics, Ecological Economics, Energy Policy, Environmental and Resource Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Productivity Analysis, Nature Energy, Resource and Energy Economics and The Energy Journal.
